This thing called life certainly throws curve balls at unexpected times.
As much as I want to complain and whine about my day spent standing on my feet and being so bored out of my mind that I couldn't wait to do another load of laundry at school, I'm not going to.
Yeah. Read that again and process what it just said. The Queen of Loathing Laundry just said that she couldn't wait to wash towels.
I digress.
I have a few things to be happy about this week.
Numba One: Mia's doing awesome in preschool. Parent teacher conference was last week and Mia's teacher had nothing but excellent things to say about her. Every one of her teachers adore her and are constantly telling me what a well mannered, helpful and caring child I have. You know that saying, "It takes an island to raise a child" (or something along those lines)? This is very true in my case. I give loads of credit to my mom, dad, sister, bro-in-law, close friends and lots of other people for helping me raise such a great little person.
Numba Two: I am so happy to be surrounded by such great people at school. The girls on my rotation are hilarious, extremely helpful and are full of life. They are constantly making me laugh and pushing me to my fullest. If it weren't for a select few of them today, I would have left during lunch since I wasn't feeling so hot. But I got through it. Because of them. Thanks girls :)
Numba Three: The weather here has been awesome lately. Autumn on the East Coast is seriously magnificent. I can't wait to go for a drive up one of the canyons to take some pictures of the trees that are turning beautiful colors.
Numba Four: Everyone around me is pregnant. Seriously. All of my closest friends (including my sister) are pregnant. Warning to those who are still in Utah, don't drink the water.
My very, very, VERY good friend, Lindsey (who I wrote about in an earlier post) is about 16 weeks along with her first child. Poor Linds has been sick the entire time. She's going to be one of those women who experience horrible pregnancies and end up having the world's best baby. I keep telling her that it's totally worth it in the end. Even when you throw up in your cereal that you were eating before work, it's worth it.
Because Lindsey is such a good friend of mine, her child (we don't know the gender of the baby just yet) will pretty much be my niece or nephew. I'm totally voting for another niece. Nothing against boys, but girls are so much fun.
Baby Jensen is due sometime around March! I couldn't be more excited for both Lindsey and her adorable hubby, Jeff.

For the record, I'm not pregnant. Did I get demoted?
Not at all, love. You're the exception ;)
